Chief of Staff, National Milk Producers Federation
Emily Meredith is the Chief of Staff at the National Milk Producers Federation. Her primary responsibilities lie in the areas of strategic planning, organizational oversight and stakeholder outreach. Emily also oversees the National Dairy FARM Program, which assures consumers that milk and other products from American dairy farms are the end result of responsible animal care practices. In supervising the exceptional FARM Program team, she focuses on other education and training modules that are identified as part of the FARM program, and assists in other areas of the regulatory department such as biosecurity and residue avoidance. Emily was previously the Vice President, Communications & Membership at the Animal Agriculture Alliance and worked as a speechwriter at the United States Department of Agriculture prior to joining the Alliance. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and International Affairs from the George Washington University and a J.D. specializing in food and drug law from Seton Hall University. Emily’s passion lies had in safeguarding a successful future for agricultural by collaborating with farmers, key industry stakeholders, and government officials at the domestic and global levels.
