Beverly Hampton Phifer

Stakeholder Relations Manager

Beverly Hampton Phifer is the Stakeholder Relations Manager for the National Dairy FARM Program. In her role she provides support for all three FARM silos and manages program communication and outreach. Beverly’s involvement in animal agriculture is life-long. Growing up on North Carolina’s most visited agritourism business, the Lazy 5 Ranch, a drive-thru exotic and domestic animal park she has been involved in selecting, raising and managing hoof stock ranging from reticulated giraffe to domestic cattle. In addition, Beverly’s family raises registered and commercial sheep and goats for livestock showing and market. This unique background set a strong foundation of understanding the importance of animal agriculture and appreciating those who dedicate their lives to the industry as well as a first-hand knowledge of the gap between food production and consumers. She maintained that mentality while serving as a State FFA Officer, intern for the Animal Agriculture Alliance and a National Collegiate Agriculture Ambassador among numerous other consumer agriculture education opportunities.  After graduating from North Carolina State University with a BS in Poultry Science in 2015, Beverly worked for The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association providing technical support in environmental, worker safety and animal care issue areas. She joined the FARM team in May of 2016.
