Please include no more that three letters of recommendation. Letters can be written by FARM evaluators, cooperative or processor staff, fellow dairy farmers, extension staff, veterinarians or others who work closely with the farm. Letters should illustrate the farm’s commitment to FARM program priorities.
Please include three to five images of the nominated farm, farmers and their families, employees, community, animals or other features that speak to the success of the farm. Image should be high-resolution/print quality. Please note: these images will not be used in the judging process but to promote and recognize the category winners.
Items to consider: evaluation preparation, communication with farms, embracing learning opportunities, support and follow up, relationship management, serving as a role model, etc.
Example: participation in relevant topic discussions or leadership at milk marketing organization or FARM.
Examples: Consulting with a veterinarian, nutritionist, animal scientist, animal handling specialist, hoof trimmer, etc.; using FARM templates or other resources to implement new practices, protocols or programs related to FARM Animal Care, etc.
Examples: volunteering to complete evaluation, participation in relevant topic discussions or leadership at milk marketing organization or FARM program, participating in pilot, etc.
