The FARM Program teamed up with Hoard’s Dairyman to offer a library of print or digital articles on topics that align with the FARM Animal Care standards and meet the FARM Animal Care continuing education requirement. Articles in each issue of the magazine that meet the continuing education requirement are now marked with a FARM Program continuing education emblem. There is also a QR code on those pages in the print magazine that will take you directly to a clearinghouse of past articles that fulfill this continuing education requirement. Those articles, listed in chronological order and by category, can be found on the Hoard’s Dairyman website.
Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) is a nationally coordinated, state-implemented program that provides information to U.S. beef producers and beef consumers about how common sense husbandry techniques can be coupled with accepted scientific knowledge to raise cattle under optimum management and environmental conditions. BQA guidelines are designed to make certain all beef consumers can take pride in what they purchase – and can trust and have confidence in the entire beef industry. The FARM Program is proud to partner with BQA to provide these valuable resources.
