Anna started at AgSafe as an Education Specialist and quickly grew into the role of Assistant Director of Education. Her passion for agriculture started at a young age and she followed it to Modesto Junior College, where she studied Animal Science and worked on the school farm. From there she transferred to California State University, Chico and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Communications.
Ms. Genasci’s professional experience includes working within live production at Foster Farms and serving as a pesticide enforcement professional for the Stanislaus County Agricultural Commissioner. It was there she found her true calling, helping growers and workers stay safe on the job. Ms. Genasci has pioneered AgSafe’s pesticide educational programs and is co-leading the organization’s incident investigation and voluntary audit programs.
